Terramin Edible Red Calcium Montmorillonite Clay Powder

Terramin Montmorillonite Clay, Edible Minerals by California Earth Minerals is a pure clay powder consisting of Red Desert Clay (also called Red Montmorillonite & ION MIN®) mined in the Colorado River Delta, California.

The UK Food Standards Agency has reviewed the mineral content of Terramin and approved its use as a human food supplement.
Terramin is sourced from a rare mineral deposit, which is naturally very low in heavy metal elements. It is therefore not subjected to harsh processing or treatments such as bleaching or irradiation, as are frequently applied to many pharmaceutical grade clays.
Terramin Powder is a pure mineral source that is free from any additives, stimulants, preservatives, extenders or radiation and has a pH of 8.3

Terramin is naturally high in micron-sized ionic minerals such as calcium, iron, magnesium, copper, potassium, chromium, zinc and selenium.
The exact values of all mineral contents are displayed in the Terramin Consumer Product Guide.
Calcium is needed for the maintenance of normal bones and teeth, contributes to normal blood clotting, normal energy-yielding metabolism, normal muscle function, normal neurotransmission, the normal function of digestive enzymes and has a role in the process of cell division and specialisation.

Terramin (ION-MIN®) is the only clay that NASA approved for astronauts' use in space, based on the results of tests conducted by the California Institute of Technology (CalTech University).
NASA found that the highly absorbable calcium in Terramin helped to reverse the effects of zero-gravity which was causing bone de-mineralisation and osteoporosis.
